Everyone knows that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, right? That, unless there is a long wait on your way …
Let me explain: the best way to go from Los Angeles to Rio de Janeiro would be a direct flight. As there is none, the route that most closely approximates to straight line is via Panama, with a stop in Panama City. The problem is that the waiting time between a flight and another is 10 hours! This week it was like going back to school. I attended Adobe Max, an event for creative professionals who use Adobe’s softwares. It’s more focused on designers and coders, but as I want to learn new softwares and the possibilities of the Adobe Master Collection (which I own, but use mainly the video softwares), I took time off of work to invest in myself.

This was the first Brazil vs USA game in the Confederations Cup (before the final). I took this picture myself from inside the tunnel, where I was working (hence, didn’t see much of the game…).
The vibe in the stadium was amazing!

Here are some pictures of one of the most important Press Conferences I hosted in the Beijing Olympics. This was prior to the game Brazil vs USA, where hundreds of journalists wanted to talk to the main star in the game: Ronaldinho, as well as with Brazil coach Dunga.
As they don’t speak English, in these cases I also work as a translator. In the Olympics, the official Press Conferences are hosted by a member of the Organizing Committee, not by someone from the Federations (like me). So, although a colleague of mine (beside me in the picture) was in charge of it, he asked me to stay...
