Media Officer

Renata has worked as a Media Officer for FIFA in events since 2004. She has already worked in all major FIFA competitions, such as the Confederations Cup South Africa 2009, World Cup Germany 2006 and the Women’s World Cup 2007. In 2008, she was one of the Media Officers in charge of men’s and women’s soccer in the Beijing Olympics. Other tournaments she participated include the U-19 Women’s World Championship Thailand 2004, the U-17 World Championship Peru 2005 and the U-20 Women’s World Championship Russia 2006.

Since 2008, Renata has also worked for CONCACAF as a Venue Press Officer in Los Angeles for the Olympics men’s soccer qualifying 2008, the Champions League 2008/2009 and the Gold Cup 2009.

Her most recent assignments were the Coca-Cola Trophy Tour, where she joined the team who took the original World Cup trophy to Honduras and Mexico. In total, the tour will visit 83 countries in 225 days. Then, she headed to Colombia for stadium inspections for the U-20 World Cup 2011. Later on, she’ll be in charge of the Rustenburg stadium in South Africa, for the World Cup.
